The UAAM is open to academic, industry, and community partners to promote research and the application of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). To access the facility, please follow the operational guidelines below:

  • Rates: Please visit the rates page for testing and training fees.
  • Booking: To reserve the facility, please use the booking portal.
  • Liability Waiver: Prior to accessing the facility, all users must complete the liability waiver form (PDF).
  • UAV Specifications: The UAAM is designed for small UAVs (drones) with a maximum weight of 55 pounds and a size under 100 cm.
  • Operator Requirements: While the facility is netted for safety, it is strongly recommended that operators possess an FAA Part 107 license or be supervised by someone who holds the license.
  • Participant Safety: Only the operator is allowed inside the facility during operation. All other participants must remain outside the facility.
